Apartment Review for Forest Creek Apartments - Oklahoma City, OK

i have lived in Apartments for about 10 years now and this is the worst Apartment complex i have ever lived in. They do not clean their apartments or maintain it before they rent it out. You write down work orders before you move in and they still don't get done. You turn in work orders and it takes at least 2 months and up to 6 months before somebody shows up to do anything and worst of all when they finally get there to take care of the work order, they leave the trash in your apartment from all the repair stuff they brought with them or they hide the trash in your closet. I have to call their Corporate Office everytime i need a work order taken care of because the Office Staff and the Regional Mgr don't even care. Even with maintenance emergencies, they still will take 2 months before somebody does anything about it. I had my window broken from the hail and i called them that same night. they said they will come the next day and take care of it. i told them there was a huge piece of glass just waiting to fall down on anyone who touches it or even goes next to it. Now mind you, this broken window is in my children's room- i have a six year old and a two year old and they love to play in their bedroom. You would not believe it took them 4 days to show up and that's because i called their corporate office and threatened a law suit if that glass was to come down on any of my kids. I begged them to just come over and take down the glass that was hanging from the window and board it up even if it takes them 2 months to come back and replace it, just as long as my kids are not in danger. I had to go thru the corp office to get that taken care of. What bothers me is that you sign a lease agreeing to pay rent 1st of the month or pay $50 late fee or get evicted, no excuses even if you lose your job and in turn they sign that they're responsible for maintenance, yet they don't honor their part of the agreement but they still they expect you to pay your rent at the beginning of the month or get evicted-No Excuses!!!. These people should not be in business at all. Besides all these, the grounds are trashy, paper everywhere, people park in 2 spots at once, there's no control. The community laundry room stinks of pee-no body cleans it, there's trash and flies everywhere in the laundry room, this place is just horrible and i would not recommend anybody to live in it especially if you're not on section 8. I pay my rent before the first of the month and i am so angry at the treatment that tenants are getting. Froest Creek Apartments is run by JRK Property Management, so watch out!
