Apartment Review for Greystoke Apartments Llc - Oklahoma City, OK

i have a very strong feeling that the owners wrote the last 2 reviews. there is no equiptment in the fitness center, and there is nothing in the spa. i lived at greystoke apartments for 4 months! from feb 2009 until june 2009 every day i felt like i was going to be robbed! when i first agreed to live there i was 3 months pregnant, so my boyfriend and i wanted a safe place. the property manager Terry Henderson, told us that is was a great place to raise a child, we soon found out that this was very untrue! we could sit on our back porch and literally watch drug deals through the fence! also, im not sure if very many people are aware of it, but when you live in a gated community, 5% of your rent is for the gated part of that, our gate was never closed, you were supposed to have to put in your own unique code to get in to the gate. that would be if the gate were ever closed! another 5% of your rent is for the pool that they say they have, they do have the pool, and it is indoors, but from what our neighbors said, that pool hadn't run in over 5 years! another 5% of your rent is for the trash and water services, out water was cut off twice while we lived there, and they wouldnt have the trash picked up until there was a pile as high as the dumster behing the dumpster. another thing is that our toilet was broken from the day that we moved in until the day that we moved out! we contacted them about it several times, with no fix! one day while i was in the shower, about a month before we moved, the knob to turn it from hot to cold snapped off, and all they did was bring us a pair of plyers to turn it with, it was never fixed either! we moved in at the beginning of feb. and we did not get our mailbox keys until the beginning of april. which in turn made all of our bills late, and caused our electric to be turned off! finally we had had enough and moved out as fast as we could! i would not reccomend anyone living there EVER! unless the property is bought by new owners!!!
