Apartment Review for Lake Stella Apartments - Oklahoma City, OK

I have lived here at Lake Stella for two wonderful years and am leaving ONLY because I am ready to purchase a home. This is the only apartment I have ever lived in that I would consider a home rather than a box. First off, it's called Lake Stella for a reason. Unlike others, there ACTUALLY is a body of water on the property. It is very active with lots of geese, ducks, turtles, fish and others. This place is open and perfect for family. There is a sense of community here which I find rare among apartment complexes. Residents walk around, chat in front of their patio or the pool, walk their dogs and children are playing. The atmosphere here is more like that of a neighborhood. I have enjoyed working with management, they are very friendly and accomodating. Safety is also perfect here. My unit is protected by both a front door leading out to a lighted area and a second locked door to the outside. I have observed absolutely zero crime in my two years here. Definitely come take a look if you are looking in this area!
