Apartment Review for Lakewood Park Apartments - Oklahoma City, OK

My roommate and I moved in about six months ago with our two small children. On the day they gave us our keys and management was taking us to our apartmnet, we noticed a giant 6ft deep hole in one of the common ares. Concerned, we asked about it and we were promised that it would be filled in by the end of the month. Its still there with nothing around it to keep someone from falling in. They also told us that they have been "cleaning this place up" as in getting rid of the tenants that cause problems. Heh, yeah right. We have had rocks come through our windows my car broken into and trashed and our apartment broken into. 'Security' has caught kids playing in my car (which was locked) while I wasn't home and no one notified me of it. The only reason I know is because they were in my upstairs neighbors car too and he told me. I can't take my daughter outside to play because the 'construction' crew leaves broken glass and chemicals everywhere. there are even holes right outside my front door that have no caution tape or anything around them. WE've asked the office if they could talk to them about it or do something at all and we were told that it was pointless to put it up because the kids just tear it down. There are drug deals going on constantly and prostitutes everywhere. I am moving out ofthis place asap. The management is full of empty promises and the older lady that works in the front office treats every one like a two year old. This place should be set fire to so we can be rid of it.
