Apartment Review for Parklane Townhomes - Oklahoma City, OK

Drug alley, and I've lived in some pretty high crime places, i.e. San Diego and San Jose California and this place beats all. I've been here three months, I've had my apartment flood every month, they refuse to come out and change the padding or carpeting, they won't put me in another aparmtent either. We live with the smell of mold, mildew, and the previous owners cat urine smell in EVERYTHING. They won't replace the carpet and there is NO parking. If you do find a place to park, you'd better have insurance because your car WILL be damaged. Everyone helps themselves to your car (sitting on them, messing with them, drawing on them) and the manager won't do a thing. These apartments are owned by a company called Merritt Properties. Check them out. As long as they get their rent every month, they don't much care if their tenents live in raw sewage. I'm trying to spread the word to anyone who will listen not to rent here. In our first week, both of our children were hurt seriously enough to be taken to the hospital by older kids around here. The manager did nothing. In point of fact, you'd be lucky to get the manager, she stays gone and lets her granddaughter run things mostly and the grand daughter doesn't care much, she just wants to be left alone. Please please please, homeless is better than this place. Don't do it. It's just not worth it.
