Apartment Review for Reding Square Apartments - Oklahoma City, OK

I took an apartment here I signed a lease for one year. I would not reccommend this apartment house to anyone. This place is so full of roaches that it is sickening. I used spray, powder, traps and eventually bombs. All of this played havoc with my asthma. I moved out in Aug of 2009. I had a moving company come to my apartment to pick up my things and move my things to another place. Half way through the process, the movers quit. Why? When they started moving the large furniture they saw all of these roaches running for cover. The movers called the boss and told him what was going on, and what they had discovered. The boss said to deliver what was on the truck but not to bring my large furniture. Cost $245.00 I called another mover and gave them the address, the person I was setting up the move date with said, “ Is that Reding Square Apartments?” I said. Yes, it is. The lady said, “ We would move someone to Reding Square Apartments. But do to our experiences with moving others from there, we will not move anyone from there again. The reason why is that it costs us more to exterminate the roaches out of our moving vans than we get for moving the client.” I had to go through that apartment with roach bombs. I did it one time with 6 bombs. I closed up the apartment and returned 3 days later to find some dead bodies, but there were a lot more that were not dead. I again set 6 more bombs off and came back 2 days later. It was the same as before, some dead and more alive. I finally went and hired a U haul truck and men to move and took the wooden furniture out as wooden furniture could be treated to kill the roaches. I asked how the cloth furniture could be debugged and was told that I would have to put it into a freezer for two weeks to kill the adults and for two more weeks to kill the young. I couldn't afford to do that at that time. As for the rating system there is not anything lower than one star. I would not even give them that
