Apartment Review for Summer Oaks Apartments - Oklahoma City, OK

i had just signed an 8 month lease, when they showed me around it seemed nice, few things that needed to be replaced but they would get that done. said they had just bombed and i might see a few "bugs".... this was on friday..i moved in sunday evening...and brought some spray to help those "few" bugs. I came back later that evening to show a friend...the roaches were EVERYWHERE...they were not dead nor did they look like they had been bombed..i cudnt move anything in!! I told them about it monday...said i cudnt live there bc there were cracks and openings in the baseboards where the roaches were coming from so it wudnt help if they just bombed my apartment..they would come back. so i wanted to terminate my lease...this was 3 days after signing it on friday.. and i cudnt have my deposit back. Nor could i have the prorate of june deposit back either...even tho I NEVER lived there! i cudnt even move all my stuff in bc of how bad the roaches were. its a shame bc the apartment was cute..and the stuff they offered was nice.. however i didnt want to pay a pet deposit for THOSE kind of pets.
