Apartment Review for Summerfield Place - Oklahoma City, OK

We had to learn the hard way...by experience...not to waste our hard earned money and time on Case Properties. The electrical problem at Summerfield Apartments is very dangerous! The wall plugs are not secured in walls except the one that have so much paint on them the plug holes are covered over. Water leaks that run down from upstairs apartments and soak switches and plugs making them dangerous. The appliances, heating/cooling units are not installed correctly. Held together with Duct Tape. The cooking stove is vented by blowing back into the apartment. The dryers vent thru the walls are NEVER cleaned unless you, the tenant, will purchase adapter for your vac that will reach up into the wall and clean it yourself. Most apartments have mold in various areas and management is quick to tell you "it NOT the kind that hurts any one" although they never tested any from my apartment. The spiders ARE terrible. According to management "spraying can only do so much because the spiders will leave the premises during the spraying only to return when the spraying is over. And Residual Action of insecticides is only something companies claim, to get people to buy their product". There is NO privacy between apartment. NONE.ZIP. Nada. The walls are like paper. You are able to hear every thing thru the walls & ceiling. I do mean EVERTYHING! from conversations to potty- time and in-between! Like all Case Properties...it looks good from the outside but once they've got you in...you are ripped off! The apartments are not worth what they charge for rent! And yes they rip-off tenants on the water bill...big time!
